Be recycle ready
- To ensure that your materials are collected, remember to place your recyclables at the curb by 7:00 am on your collection day on your designated side of the street.
- Remember to place your bin where it can be seen from the roadway.
- Give your containers a quick rinse to remove any food and residue.
- Place all recyclables in the bin – no sorting is required.
- Labels can be left on metal food cans, glass bottles, plastic containers, etc.
- Remove plastic lids and caps and dispose of lids smaller than 3 inches. Place metal lids inside the can.
- Remove plastic wrapping from newspaper, magazines, and catalogues.
