About your recycling program
Circular Materials, Ryse Solutions and H2 Compliance are the producer responsibility organizations that will be operating Ontario’s new common collection system.
In June 2021, the Province of Ontario released the Blue Box Regulation to shift the financial and operational responsibility of recycling from municipalities to the organizations that produce packaging, paper and packaging–like products.
Between July 2023 and December 2025, the responsibility for Ontario’s Blue Box program will transition to producers. There will be no changes to your collection schedule or the materials you can recycle during this transition period. Learn more here.
Ready. Recycle. Repeat.
When you recycle, you’re making a difference. Recycling benefits all of us and our planet.
