Be recycle ready

  • Sort your recyclables into two separate containers – Grey Box for Paper & Cardboard, and the Blue Box for Plastic, Metal & Milk Containers.
  • Glass packaging, flexible plastics and white foam polystyrene are not accepted curbside and should be taken to a redemption center near you. Click here to view a detailed list of materials.
  • Keep your materials loose into your recycling bins.
  • Place your recycling bins at the curb by 7 a.m. on your regular collection day.
  • Flatten and break down cardboard boxes to save space on recycling.
  • Large quantities of cardboard (6 or more boxes) – bundle & tie so they are no larger than 30” x 30” x 8” (76 cm x 76 cm x 20 cm).
  • Give containers a quick rinse and remove caps.
  • Leave labels on containers.
