Be recycle ready

  • Recyclables are collected on alternating weeks. Please check the recycling calendar to determine which recycling material is being picked up for a given week. Find your location on the collection map to learn more about your collection date.
  • Separate containers from paper and cardboard. Place containers in your yellow recycling bin and paper/cardboard materials in your blue recycling bin. View the sorting guide to determine what materials go where.
  • Place recyclables out at the curb before 5 a.m. on the day of collection or the night before after 7 p.m.
  • Please put your collection items and bins inside your driveway five feet back from the road or curb. Putting your bins five feet back is very important in the winter especially when its snows. Putting bins back five feet helps with snow removal and reduces the likelihood your bins will get damaged.
  • Give containers a quick rinse to remove any residue before placing them for recycling.
  • Flatten all boxes before placing them for recycling.
