As of April 1, 2025, Coleman’s recycling program will be managed by Circular Materials, a national not-for-profit organization that is committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario.

Be recycle ready

  • Recycling curbside collection is every second Tuesday.
  • Give containers a quick rinse to remove any residue before placing them for recycling.
  • Flatten all boxes before placing them for recycling.

What’s accepted

  • Paper Products: newspapers, magazines, computer paper, pamphlets, flyers, envelopes, writing paper, cardboard, boxboard, cereal boxes, old corrugated cardboard, tissue boxes, soup boxes and shoe boxes, etc.
  • Aluminum and steel cans
  • Glass jars and bottles
  • Plastic containers: plastic containers labeled with # 1 – 7
  • Milk and juice cartons
  • Tetra-paks such as juice boxes
  • Aluminum foil and plates
  • Wax paper
  • Paper towels
  • Waxed grocery boxes
  • Coat hangers, metal pots and pans
  • Drinking glasses, cups, dishes, window glass, light bulbs, mirrors, pottery, glass pots and pans, make-up jars
  • Plastic material which does not have the #1-7 recycling symbols.
  • Wood
  • Food and organics
