Recycling collection day changes starting July 2025

Starting in July, recycling collection in the Town of Bancroft will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Due to Canada Day, the Tuesday, July 1 pickup will take place on Thursday, July 3.

To find your new collection day, please use this collection map and select your collection area.

Be recycle ready

Sort containers from paper and cardboard products.
Give containers a quick rinse before putting in your recycling.
Place materials clean, dry and loose in your recycling.
Flatten and bundle cardboard to save space.
Lids and labels can remain on containers
Have your recycling to the curb by 7 a.m. on collection day.
Hazardous materials, like batteries and sharps, do not belong in your recycling. Take them to a designated drop off location for safe handling.
