Be recycle ready
Glass, white polystyrene foam and flexible plastics do not go in your curbside recycling. Take them to a
redemption centre
near you for recycling.
Give containers a quick rinse before putting in your recycling.
Place materials clean, dry and loose in your recycling. Only shredded paper can be bagged.
Flatten and bundle cardboard to save space.
Lids and labels can remain on containers.
Have your recycling to the curb by 7 a.m. on collection day.
Hazardous materials, like
batteries
and
sharps
, do not belong in your recycling. Take them to a designated drop off location for safe handling.

Circular Materials celebrates the expansion of recycling across New Brunswick
This latest phase extends recycling to multi-family residences, schools and communities that were previously depot-based or without any recycling services. With this expansion, all communities in New Brunswick now have curbside recycling.

Key milestone reached in the Yukon’s transition to extended producer responsibility
On February 1, 2025, the Government of Yukon’s Department of Environment approved the Yukon Stewardship Plan for Packaging, Paper and Single-Use Products. This marks a significant milestone for the Yukon’s transition to full extended producer responsibility (EPR) for packaging and paper products, set to launch on November 1, 2025.

Circular Materials joins the Circular Plastics Taskforce
The Circular Plastics Taskforce (CPT) announced the expansion of its membership with the addition of Circular Materials on April 16, 2025.
