What stays out of your recycling
Not everything from your summer gatherings belong in your recycling. Keep these items out:
Propane canisters are hazardous and can danger workers and facilities.
Paper towel can contaminate other recyclables.
Wood from decks, skewers, or elsewhere.
Batteries can cause fires at facilities.
Water balloons can get stuck in recycling machinery and disrupt operations.
Pool toys can be donated instead!
