Expanded recycling services for small business
The Yukon’s extended producer responsibility (EPR) recycling program for packaging and paper products is continuing to expand to small businesses, making recycling more accessible across the Territory.
How the program works
Owners and managers of qualifying small business who are interested in recycling services can register via our online registry.
Once registered, your information will be reviewed by Circular Materials’ team to determine if your business qualifies for either inclusion in curbside collection or depot service.
Circular Materials will then contact you to discuss next steps.

Eligibility criteria
Small businesses qualify as eligible sources of recyclable packaging and paper products if they meet the following criteria:
- Annual revenue under $500,000
- Less than 100 kilograms of recyclable material generated annually
- Materials are consistent with the kinds and quantities of material that are generated by a residential household
