Be recycle ready

  • Recycling is picked up every Tuesday, including statutory holidays, from every residential address in the Municipality of Casselman.
  • Place your recycling at the curb between 6:00 pm the night before the collection and 7:00 am the day of.
  • There is no limit to the number of blue boxes or clear bags collected per household.

    Accepted materials

    Paper

    Newspapers, flyers and magazines, paper sheets, envelopes, paper bags, phonebooks, cardboard rolls and boxes, egg cartons, gable-top milk, juiced cartons, aseptic conainers (Tetra Pak type)

    Plastic

    Plastic containers featuring PET symbols (1,2,3,4,5,6 or 7), bottles, containers and wrappings of food products, drinks, cosmetics, personal hygiene products, cleaning products, caps and lids, bags and plastic wrappers

    Glass

    Bottles and jars, all colours. Window glass and ceramics are not accepted.

    Metal

    Aluminum foil and containers, aluminum bottles and cans, tin cans, caps and lids. Scrap metals and pans are not accepted.
